We’ll pick you up at the port in an air-conditioned vehicle, from there we’ll go to La Popa hill, which is the highest point of Cartagena, from where we´ll have the best view of Cartagena, there you can visit the monastery Santa Cruz de la Candelaria, a beautiful 17th-century construction, later on, we´ll go to the Old Shoes monument, allegoric to a poem dedicated to the city written by Luis Carlos Lopez, one of the most representative poets in Cartagena, from there we’ll continue to Saint Philip Castle, the most significant military construction ever built in colonial times, then we’ll continue to the old city, there we’ll see the colonial military, civil and ecclesiastical constructions, streets and squares, and the different architectural styles, there’ll be time for shopping too. The tour lasts three hours and forty-five minutes, with time flexibility.
